For Most Bands, the BIO Page is reserved for self professed tales enhancing their street cred, or perhaps a short anecdote guaranteed to illicit the most menial of chuckles. In fact, most often, most use this space to assert how ’original’ their music is when their music fails to do so on it’s own.
Instead of these all too familiar distractions, we choose to tell you, in plain words, exactly what we stand for: Truth- the basic tenet that echoes to a more honest time. When life was worth fighting for. When one would rather die than live as a mindless drone. Should you wish to search for what we are about, you would have to look no further than a speech made March 23, 1775 by a patriot by the name of Patrick Henry. Addressing the Virginia House of Burgesses, mr. Henry put forth this quandary:
"Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"An evident irony is that the very culture that this speech founded and cultivated now harbors a seemingly never-ending parade of the uninformed. Fools proudly exhibiting their tunnel vision and unquestioning followers sated and docile. A public controlled by constantly reprised promises of peace and threats of violence.
If, like us, you choose to stand for something different - something with substance and meaning, If like us you have simply had your fill of the bullshit served on special to us day after day, If you know that these are no times to sit idle, We urge to to echo the words of our forefathers Jefferson and Washington in response to that famed Patrick henry speech: To arms, to arms!
Only through great effort can great change be achieved. The choice is yours, and it must be made.
