Alex Deligiannidis

Alex was born in Kavala, a small town in north Greece, in 1981.In 2000 he moves to Thessalonica, the 2nd biggest city in Greece where he performs in the biggest venues. At the same period Alex starts to dig into jazz theory and harmony. He meets numerous musicians and he gigs with some popular artists in north Greece and the Balkans.In 2003 he moves to London where he forms his first jazz fusion quartet Ruby Red. He also joins Basstech. He graduates 3 years later with a Bmus in Popular Music Performance.The following years he performs in many venues in London, works in numerous projects and teaches bass privately. Still living in London Alex now days is working his own music on “MEANDROS” project as well as with the talented guitar/oud player Stefanos Tsourelis. He has also recorded bass for John Jeff Touch’s debut CD, which will be released in 2008 from a major record company.
