John Jeff Touch is one of the most promising rock singers of Greece.Wide vocal range, big variety of sound colors combined with expressiveness and feeling are the things that characterizes his way of singing.His influences are from many kinds of music like melodic rock, pop-rock, jazz, ethnic, electro e.t.c. Some of his favorite singers are Freddy Mercury, Kip Winger, David Coverdale, Steve Perry, Michael Jackson, George Michael e.t.c. He took part in three international vocal competitions where he awarded with the following prizes: • First prize out of 72 contestants from 18 countries- Sarandev festival (2002). • Prize of the judges and prize of the Media out of 20 countries – Discovery festival (2003). • Grand prix out of 80 contestants from 22 countries- Turnovo European competition. He also works as a session singer around Europe. • In 2004 he sung in the album of Lars Eric Mattsson called VISION-On the edge. Released by LION MUSIC. • In 2005-2006 he was the singer of the German band called S.I.N. • He is the singer of the band Phenomenon, a rock band who play--round Greece • In 2006 he formed a band with --talented shred guitarist Lakis Ragazas called KILLER SIXGUN and they made a melodic hard rock album. • In 2007 he formed with the guitarist Angel Mourvatis the band COSMICRAY.They released their album called LOVE IS by PLUS REC/UNIVERSAL.The last four years he is making his own album called FIRST TOUCH. The songs are a mixture of melodic-rock, acoustic, ethnic, electro and jazz.All the guitar solos are played by Sotiris Gogos a brilliant shred virtuoso who is one of the best guitarists in Greece. He is an absolute torrent of inspiration, feeling and improvisation combined perfectly with the special atmosphere of the songs. Their chemistry is clearly shown in each song, uniting the melodic-rock with modern sound and progressive ideas. All the compositions and the arrangements are by John Jeff Touch, except some which are composed by John Jeff Touch, S. Gogo.
