Plus Rec was founded in 2002 in Thessaloniki, the capital of Macedonia province, in Greece. Harris Proios is the founding member and today's MD of the record label. Main focus of the company is to give a chance to young and new artists along with some known ones to express themselves musically. Plus Rec is releasing new stuff, not focusing on the genre but on the freshness of the sound. Plus Rec is also producing mainstream, chart acts...Artists signed with Plus Rec are: Emigre, Fanela Rige, George Giasemis, Xristos Avramidis, Suave Gap, Thanos Dimitrakoudis, Intiotek, Kapnos, Delay Exhibition, Etostone, and the emerging Greek speaking artist Athina Routsi.Plus Rec also receives the licence and release albums of foreign acts in Greece/Cyprus. The Belgian band's, Vive La Fete, album "Grand Prix" has been released in the two markets in August 2005 with critical acclaim.Plus Rec makes available for licence all it's acts and recently licenced Zante Dilemma's "My Christina" to Warners Scandinavia.
