His versatility to play almost any genre of music, along with his flawless ability to please almost any crowd, makes him a popular choice to perform at private events & corporate functions as well as at clubs, bars & underground parties.
DOCTOR STONE has been on the underground DJ scene since late 2002. He has built a growing reputation as a tight, dynamic house DJ that takes listeners by the hand to different soundscapes in every set.
DOCTOR STONE has caressed the soul of many exclusive underground parties including those of Gauloises, Citrus Lounge, House-O-Music & the 5fm Saturday Night Surgery Feature Party. He's also been involved at glitzy, private & exclusive parties thrown by the likes of the French Commercial Attaché to South Africa, Johannesburg socialite, James Blond & Christian Dior, as well as a long list of parties, events & functions. He has also both played at and managed DJ lineups and events at Ratz Cocktail Bar, Statement Cocktail Lounge & Nino's.
DOCTOR STONE was voted as one of the Top 60 South African DJ's by www.clubbersguide.co.za in 2005, and has gone from strength to strength ever since.
DOCTOR STONE earned international status with a successful tour in Mozambique in 2005/6.
DOCTOR STONE has also compiled and mixed 3 compilation CD's for the exclusive Citrus Lounge underground parties.
More recently, DOCTOR STONE was approached to put together a 30min funky ass funk mix for Mlu's 5th Element show on 5fm, which was broadcasted on 16th February 2007.
DOCTOR STONE was also featured on the saturday night Vinyl Frontier on 12th May 2007 with an energetic 30min "best of" mix & an exclusive interview.
