Starting out as a breakdancer, he quickly discovered his passion for DJ’ing. After two decades of successfully performing at clubs, pubs, fashion shows & dance festivals around South Africa as well as Europe, he decided to take his career to the next level by producing his own music. Michael chose to study Sound Design & Production at the prestigious “School of Sound Recording†(SSR) in Manchester attended by the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox and Lamb. One of the tracks he produced while at SSR, “Tariff 10â€, was given the accolade of “Best Final Project†and would later feature along side top South African artists such as Flash Republic, Iridium Project and DJ Mbuso on Roger Goode & SL Magazine’s “New Sound Search†CD released in July 2005.But Michael is no stranger to releasing CD’s. In 1999 he released Happy House under the USM label and then the following year, Mastermix 2000 under Universal SA.He has ranked in the top 3 DJ's in Johannesburg for a battle of the DJ’s competition and still seems to wow any crowd he plays for. Michael also started a DJ School where he lectured twice a week teaching novice and intermediate classes.Currently Michael owns and works from his post production studio Monotone Audio, based in Johannesburg where he provides sound designing for Ministry of Illusion, one of the leading visual effects & multimedia companies in SA.Michael also works closely with producer Brendan Morisset in remixing and producing tracks for various artists and labels including Iris Music and Stereo FX Digital Music.Live and believe in your passion..glitter { www.glitter-graphics.com } Myspace Graphics
