My Interests

Pretty much everything - although not mad on football or rice pudding

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who loves music, art, theatre, books, any kind of live performance, ecclectic tasts in everything. People with passion and opinions, people who have seen a lot, but want to see more, have a thirst for knowledge, life and deep soul mate love. I'd like to meet people who don't make judgmenets until they have fully come to understand something. People who are tolerant and have an eye on the bigger picture. We can talk endless crap with each other as well as have heated discussions about our favourite subjects or pet hates. If you are these people - I want to know you, come chat........

Music:

Impossible to list, probably easier to say what I don't like - no, can't think of any genre of music that doesn't light my fire at the right time. But the music that's currently on top of my CD player is: Bjork, Radiohead, Johnny Cash, Richard Hawley, Cocteau Twins, Bach, Placebo, Led Zeppelin, Nina Simone, Tom Waites, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, Godfrapp, Prokoviev, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Mercury Rev, Paul Simon, Gary Numan and Muse

Movies:

Where to start?......anything that has a pulse.......

Television:

I don't watch much telly, but the programmes I make or made time for are: Dr Who, Six Feet Under, Afterlife, Frasier, Seinfeld, Newsnight, Twin Peaks (David Lynch is a god), I like watching Rick Stein throwing prawns about and pretty much most documentaries about artists, actors, musicians etc

Books:

Mikhail Bulgakov, Iris Murdoch, Italo Calvino, Primo Levi, Ian McEewan, Bill Bryson, Dennis Potter, HG Wells, Shakespeare (although prefer watching than reading his), Melvyn Bragg...........

Heroes:

Bjork, Charlie Chaplin and Fat Freddy's Cat
