Our Beloved Steve passed Saturday. I personally will miss his ever smiling face and his teasing!
He gave all respect and I am deeply saddened by his loss!

TNT’s Bar and Grille is well known as an area rock ‘n’ roll hangout. But Wednesday nights belong to hip-hop. There at the Clinton Township bar, local independent hip-hop artists showcase their talents to the masses. The hip-hop night started as a one-time deal last year when Derek Wroblewski, owner of TNT’s allowed Sun Messengesr to have a (hip-hop) fundraiser at the bar for the family struggling with funeral expenses. The response was so overwhelming that Wroblewski asked his mother, “Caddy†Carol Douglas to continue the hip-hop event every Wednesday. “Our goal is to make TNT’s the best hip-hop spot in Detroit,†said Caddy who over the past year has managed to bring in big names in the independent scene including Wolfpack, Earthquake and Purple Gang to the bar to perform.
Caddy, who manages Detroit rapper D-Stone when she’s not at TNT’s, views Wednesday nights as a way to unify Detroit rap artists and fans to work together the expand the influence of Detroit hip-hop to the world. She urges those artists looking for support and feedback to come to Clinton Township. “Detroit will not move forward in a positive way if we don’t support each other. We have so much talent in Detroit but we have to stop hating on each other for Detroit to be No. 1 on the music map again.†Hip-Hop Wednesdays at TNT’s Bar and Grille; located at 35101 Harper in Clinton Township.
