Now we need the names and addresses of 15 POTENTIAL MEMBERS in order to submit our chapter application to Surfrider National. If you're interested in being a part of Surfrider Louisiana, please e-mail us your name and address so we can get this chapter off the ground!
The Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots, non-profit, environmental organization that works to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches. Founded in 1984, Surfrider Foundation's most important coastal environmental work is carried out by Surfrider Foundation's 60 chapters located along the East, West, Gulf, Puerto Rican, and Hawaiian coasts.
Right now, the only Surfrider Chapters on the Gulf Coast are located in Texas! A group of surfers and others passionate about protecting the beaches along the Gulf Coast are looking to organize a Surfruder Chapter in Louisiana. In order to apply to start a chapter, we need at least 15 proposed chapter members. Also, the group needs officers, including a Chairman, Vice Chariman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Volunteer Coordinator.
Please contact us if you're interested in being involved with the Chapter!
