For the love of God will you girls stop sending me the T&A stuff, that is not what this site is about, try reading a little of it.
This is less about me than about websites which censor ideas in order that one point of view will get more air time and give the appearance of 'winning' the various arguments. Especially those which pretend to be neutral unbiased debate sites, of which Beliefnet is the perfect example.
I have many of my posts which have been deleted from "debates" there even though they were completely within the so-called "Rules of Conduct" and this is the experience of other people as well. The only offense of these removed posts were that they were strong arguments which could not be countered by the opposing team.
What kind of debate is it, where the "hosts" are debating for one side and actually take off posts made by their opponents whether they break any rules or not ?
So far, Beliefnet.com is the only place I've seen this happen, but I'd like to know about similar sites and make this page a place where we keep track of those which show such lack of integrity.
By the way, I protested the censorship at Beliefnet and received explanations which are pure comedy.
When I responded to the explanations I was "suspended" from the site.
So the principal thing I want to do is make some noise about this website and any that are like it, because I despise censorship of ideas especially on a site which pretends to uphold free speech.
