We are 100 women based in Los Angeles that work to make the world a better place through business and philanthropy. We are entrepreneurs who give back through networking and task-forcing projects to aid many non-profits, both here and abroad. We are non-partisan and not religiously affiliated... we all just share a common goal to make the world a better place! We hold a 501(c)3 non-profit status.
Some of the many charitable organizations we have worked with are:
*First Star * Camp Laurel * More Than Shelter for Seniors * Kids And Pets * The Chase Foundation * Prostate Cancer programs * and many more...
Monthly Charitible Goods
This monthly program was launched in 2003, bringing possibility and awareness where there is none in our communities. Each month the Sirens pick a charity that needs help by collecting goods internally. We do this because it’s part of our mission statement to make the world a better place. We feel it’s important to work and donate from within. If we ourselves don’t give, how can we ask others to give and reach-out. Some of the organizations that we have collected for are:
* Upward Bound * PADRES Contra El Cancer * Covenant House California * The Los Angeles Mission * AnySolider.Com * American Red Cross: Hurricane Katrina * P.A.T.H. * City of Santa Monica Animal Shelter * Los Brazos de Jesus * Downtown Women’s Center * Kids in Solitude * Upward Bound House * Westside German Shepherd Rescue * Facing Forward * The Senior Villa * Helping the Homeless * and many more
