Life Story (Short Version): Born and raised on the island of Oahu. Left the rock for bigger and better things on the "Mainland." Attended UCSB on a full swimming scholarship and pursued "the dream" of being an Olympian. Graduated from college and moved to Mission Viejo for a year to get that much closer to said "dream". Competed in the 2000 Olympic Trials and CHOKED...nerves got the best of me and I didn't do as well as I had intended (but top 10 ain't bad). Threw in the towel (yeah, literally) and decided to go on a long vacation to figure out my life: Tahiti was BEAUTIFUL and New York was non-stop insanity, in a good way. Ended up in LA working in PR and have been blessed to pick up a GREAT group of friends along the way. Living in LA has significantly changed my way of thinking and life...and I'm glad it did. I like going out and hitting the bars but plopping on the couch with a few good friends to watch some trashy TV ain't too shabby, either.
