..Basically, we loved music from when we were small, and couldn't get it out of our systems! Hence, BlaqAura Entertainment...which came about as a means of expressing ourselves - on the business, as well as the creative side of thingsJust to give a little background on myself - my name is Cylinta Hasfal aka SiSi born on December 25, 1984 in Oakville, Ontario. I fell in love with music from a young age and in school, used to excel in writing - so much so that in 5th grade my teacher accused me of plagiarising a short story - he said that it was University level work! Well, I combined my singing and writing skills and have written numerous songs for myself as well as others. I collaborated on CD compilation entitled 'Riddim Driven:Hot Gyal" featuring reggae artists such as Wayne Wonder, Vybez Kartel and TOK. I even dabbled in modelling for a little bit and can be found featured in a couple videos (I'm not naming them, see if you can spot me :) But back to the music - I soon realized that I'm a behind-the-scenes type of girl - I don't love the spotlight. My strengths are in songwriting, arrangements and have recently started managing my first artist, CANDI. We are working in collaboration with Royal Cartel Entertainment, and her first single and video 'Stop Hatin' featuring NY based rapper Yungsta, is coming to a TV or radio station near you!!Uwayne Reynolds aka Proff is my partner in this whole music thang. Intuitive, creative, and determined to excel and succeed Proff is a true Scorpio by nature. He came up from Negril, Jamiaca in 1995 and moved to Toronto. It was here that his stepbrother Dre of the well known live band, EOP, taught him how to play drums. He continued playing throughout middle and high school and won the Kiwanis Music Festival Award three years in a row. A poet/songwriter at heart, he uses this as a vent for his emotions.
