Gooood Rockin' (and Punkin' and Folkin') Tonight

About Me

I was no more than seventeen when I first put my feet into a radio station. I started my career as a DJ in 1979, with a 45 minutes rock & roll program. After almost 30 years I’m still here, talking to a mike every night from Monday to Saturday, spinning the best of today's music and (mostly) those old-good-time-sounds people still love, listen and dance! In all these years I have had the opportunity to host radio shows for a lot of stations, with local and even national coverage. I am at radio RockFM since 1993 (you can listen to it through your computer: www.radiorockfm.com), for the pleasure of a good number of listeners.
GOOD ROCKIN’ TONIGHT (rockabilly, doo-wop, rhythm and blues, jive, hillbilly boogie, swing, rock and roll on Thu and Mon at 11 pm)
COUNTRY SKYLINE (Bakersfield sound, bluegrass, singer songwriters, honky tonk, Cajun, western swing, hillbilly on Tue and Fri at 11 pm)
GARAGELAND (garage, punk, surf, beat… hosted on Wed and Sat at 11 pm with my friend Metius - see: myspace/ilmetius).
Musicians and bands out there, if you wish to be broadcasted by an Italian radio station, pls don't hesitate to get in touch with me, I'll do my best to promote your music!
As a dj, whenever I am asked to pick up my CDs bag for record-hops I stand up and run, cause I love to provide the best rhythms for people who love to dance. I often play my records at the Milwaukee 50’s Diner (www.milwaukeediner.it), a nice live music night club 5 minutes north of Milan (for which I also book the bands) but you will find me available to come to your club, festival or private party whenever you need a r'n'r dj.
Talking about the Internet, while surfing on the web let me suggest you to give a look at The Long Journey (www.bcmai.it), a very nice site I personally run with a good team of friends and the cooperation of dozens of experts. If you love roots and country music, I’m sure you will be surprised to find thousands of articles and reviews (300 of which have my modest sign) about all the styles connected to country music.
