About Me

Radio Comix is the small-press publisher of such diverse titles as Furrlough , Ebin & May , Liberty From Hell , Girly , Hit the Beach , Bunny Town , Pervert Club and Genus , Milk , Dangerous , Genus Male and Poundcake (under our adults only imprint, Sin Factory). Formed in April 1997 by Elin Winkler and Pat Duke, they were soon joined in their quest to make totally creator-owned comics by Will Allison, Tabitha Jones, Matt High and many more. The genres Radio Comix publishes include funny animal/anthropomorphic, fantasy, science fiction, comedy, American manga and yaoi. (With minor forays into the occasional translated Japanese manga!) We are firm believers in creator's rights and are fervent supporters of the doujinshi scene. In the nine years Radio has been in existence, we've published over 500 books- not bad for a staff of four people. We've also sub-contracted out to work for larger companies on occasion, usually in the field of translated manga, as we have a full manga team including a translator, rewriter/editor and lettering/touchup people. If that weren't enough work, we have also sub-contracted computer coloring work for several companies and made brief forays into computer animation. Yes, we really are workaholics.
