Our tiny company, Studio Capsule, is run by just ourselves, Emily and Robert DeJesus, and, occasionally, with the kind help of close friends and family. We've been invited to well over a hundred anime and comic book conventions around the United States, in the last five years alone, promoting books, artwork, and animation we have or want to produce. Over the years we've had the honor meeting some wonderful con staff, industry guests, vendors, and attendies in our travels and are looking forward to meeting more.
Robert DeJesus has been a long, long, long time fan of manga and anime. His manga inspired work has seen print nearly all over the world. Probably best known for designing Banzai Chibi Chan, a mascot who appeared for two years in PSM, or aka PlayStation Magazine, in the late '90's which was seen and read by 200,000+ readers a month. His latest work can be found in the new hardbound kids' novel, Another Nastybook; Curse of the Tweeties, written by author Barry Yourgrau.
Emily DeJesus is cofounder, manager, editor, and writer for Studio Capsule. She is currently working on a line of clothing and books for children which she hopes will hit the shelves by next year. One past favorite job, Emily's voice, along with Robert's, can be heard in the backgrounds, and in an easter egg, in the ADV anime, Aquarian Age 3 dvd.
