Anime, music, anime music, politics, Buddhism, movies, FOOTBALL!!!, books, my iPod, working out, Red Sox, guided meditation, yoga, and gardening. I am very involved in researching my genealogy. In doing so, I've been reading as much as I can about Ireland, Druids, Celtic paganism, ancient Celtic art, and anything Irish I can get my hands on. I WILL go to Ireland (and may not come back).

Anything but rap, really (unless you consider Linkin Park rap).... Hard rock (card-carying member of the Disturbed fan club!!!), alternative, "classic" rock (LOTS of 70s stuff) -- but it really depends on my mood.
Let's see if I can give you an idea of how eclectic my taste in music really is. I like Boston, The Doors, Joni Mitchell, The Animals, The Byrds, Eric Clapton, Ted Nugent, Steppenwolf, The Who, Zeppelin, Beatles, Mamas and the Papas, Simon & Garfunkel, Jeffeson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac, Depeche Mode, The Smiths (Morrisey), Billy Joel (OLD Billy, not the new Billy...), Duran Duran, Erasure, Kiss, Alice in Chains, Disturbed, Godsmack, Pink Floyd, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Live, Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, Christina Aguilera, 4 Non Blondes (Linda Perry), Black Crowes, Pink, Sting, The Police, Heart, Jimi Hendrix, Prince (Jimi reincarnated), Metallica, KT Tunstall, Foreigner, Melissa Etheridge, Styx, The Cult, Maroon 5, Eurythmics, Annie Lennox, (Am I the only one who remembers Charlie Sexton???), Sammy Hagar, Van Hagar (DLR sucks....), The Cure, Steve Conte, The Seatbelts, Yoko Kanno, and I got into Frank Sinatra 'cause of my dad. (Thank you dad!!!) Consequently, I also like Harry Connick Jr. John Mayer's pretty talented too. I could add some more (Like Usher, Nelly, Black Eyed Peas, Pussy Cat Dolls), but then you'd think I was weird. *wink*
"The Usual Suspects" is the best movie EVER; "Seven," anything with Kevin Spacey, really..."Philadelphia" was awesome. I like police mysteries --- CSI stuff --- and comedies. GOOD horror movies (like "Ju On" was MUCH better than "The Grudge."). The first R movie I ever saw was the very first Friday the 13th. I was 12. Scared the CRAP out of me. :D I've been hooked on horror flicks ever since.....but the good ones still creep me out. Still waiting for that movie that's scarier than "The Exorcist." I just don't see one ever beating that for the scariest movie of all time.
I also loved 300, Notes on a Scandall, Pan Labyrinth, V for Vendetta, 23, Lady in the Water, Transformers (and I really thought I'd hate it 'cause I've never seen the cartoon), The Bourne movies.
There are a handful of movies I've seen more times than I can count --- like RHPS and The Wall. I can't tell you how many times I've seen those two movies. At least 20 times each. (yeah. Really.) I've also seen all 6 Star Wars movies at least 5 times each. Amazing stories....
I also love David Lynch. A lot of people don't get him (my husband included), but I love his movies. "Twin Peaks" is my favorite tv show of all time. I've been a fan since the pilot in 1990. I've seen all the eps twice; I've read Laura's diary; I've seen the movie. Great stuff. I'm also probably the only person who has seen "Mulholland Drive" three times. Amazing movie. Love his stuff. "Blue Velvet" was great too. Can't go wrong with David Lynch.
Lost (!!!), Law and Order, and anime. I'm also addicted to those decorating shows (BBC and TLC). Once I start watching them, I can't stop --- sorta like opening a can of Pringles. ;D Rome, on HBO, is wonderful. Great show. I'm also really nerdy and watch Meet the Press almost every Sunday. If I miss it, I get the iPodcast...
"The Da Vinci Code" is BRILLIANT; Stephen King, James Patterson, Anne Rice, and anything by The Dalai Lama and Thich Nhat Hanh. Stephen R. Donaldson and Raymond Feist are great writers as well. I have two books and a bunch of tapes by Tony Robbins. He's so inspiring. I have a couple of books by Deepak Chopra as well. Amazing. Why is it when we hear things on tapes or read things in books that should be common sense we go, "Huh!? That is so right!!! Why didn't I see this before???" and they are such simple, minute changes........ I should blog on that....
Service men and women -- from all generations. My grandfather is a purple heart recipient from WWII. So is my father-in-law. My uncle was in Vietnam. While I may not support the current administration, I certainly support the men and women who are being sent to fight so I can sleep comfortably. They don't get paid NEARLY enough....
This is even better live than on video. It's so good live, you have to have a cig after. Yeah. It's THAT good. Sully Erna RULES.
