Dog rescue..is there anything else to worry about?
DRAW is always looking for volunteers. We need people to help assess dogs, fundraise, and foster. We are also open to people who might consider occasionally doing a temp foster to give our regular foster homes a break. Even for a day or two! Supplies..that is a biggie and donations are much appreciated. We use everything every other dog owner does only ALOT more of it. Collars, leashes, harnesses, shampoo, flea treatment, food bowls, dog beds and blankets...if you need it, WE need it!If you STILL don't know what you can do? Please, consider adopting a needy shelter dog. Volunteer your time. Have ALL companion animals spayed and neeutered. Do NOT support pet stores that sell puppies or kittens (most of those pets come from puppymills) Find a local rescue and ask them what they could use by way of supplies. Many of the things they need you may have sitting in a good wil bag or in your back yard. Or maybe just send them a gift card to a local pet store.
