About Me

Dyanna Fearon is a singer/songwriter from North West London;originally discovered by SPA (A D-Influence affiliated producer) at the tender age of 16. She became a regular fixture around the D-Influence studios and office, and soon grabbed the attention of Kwame Kwaten as well as the D-Lab staff.
The niece of Phil Fearon (of Galaxy fame), Dyanna is not unfamiliar with the entertainment industry. She is a prolific songwriter as well as an excellent singer and dancer.
Miss Fearon subsequently signed a publishing deal through D-Influence Entertainment / BMG Music and started working on new material for herself as well as other acts.
Dyanna was one of the featured artists on the D-Influence presents D-Vas album. She received rave reviews, from both press and punters, for her 2 contributions Whatcha Gonna Do and I Wanna Know You. The latter was in fact featured on Touch Magazines For Shizzle CD Sampler.
Dyanna has co-written for the likes of Shola Ama, Jamelia and Back II Life vocalist Caron Wheeler and has worked with Swedish production outfit SoBlue, Craig Wiseman (Beverley Knight) in Nashville, and David Anthony (3LW, Hinda Hicks, Eternal) in New York.
She also signed a deal with Papa Records to write & appear on the Reel People album project Second Guess, and contributed to 5 songs in total. Dyanna delivers outstanding lead vocals on "Washing Away", "Back 2 Base", "Butterflies", "Steppin" and the lush dreamy "Runaway". Accompanying Dyanna by way of rap on "Steppin" is Krim - DJ Spinnas partner and MC in Jigmastas.
The band left crowds in awe with gigs at a variety of venues, such as Londons Jazz Café and Cargo, Band On The Wall in Manchester, The Southport Soul Weekender, St. Petersburgs Nu Jazz Festival and have also recorded a live session for BBC Radio 1s One World show. As the bands reputation grew they came to the attention of none other than the legendary Mr. Herbie Hancock who, in his role as musical co-ordinator, invited them to play at the Tokyo Jazz Festival 2004.
