About Me

Gascan Ruckus are a vibrant, young rock band who hail from Middletown in Co. Armagh. Classed as a contemporary punk rock act, they released their debut E.P. earlier in the year. This consisted of five rough recordings of their own tracks with a dirty rock n’roll sound and lyrics inspired by unhealthy obsessions and irrational thinking.Forming at a young age, they gently eased their way into spot performances and various competitions throughout Ireland and over the last three and a half years, the boys have built up an extensive repertoire consisting of covers from some of their main influences such as Led Zeppelin, Queens of the Stone Age and Rancid. More recently, they’ve impressed some of the biggest names in the Irish rock music industry to make it to the Ulster final of an RTÉ 2fm Rock competition and have received airplay from national radio stations such as BBC Radio Ulster and 2fm.Their musical ability alongside the caliber of the song writing has to be seen and heard to believe. With an abundance of talent and charisma, Gascan Ruckus have all the attributes of a band with the potential to go to the very top. At present, they’re writing and gigging the Irish circuit – don’t miss the chance to see them in action!
