People I haven't met already and a few that I've already met who have moved house and have omitted to let me know their current address or phone number. It's great catching up with old friends. I've recently renewed such a friendship thanks to a somewhat lengthy search to find me by an old friend now living in Co. Cork. We lost touch when I was working with the advance publicity team of a travelling circus. The guy spent many years trying to find me. Once he learnt that I had left the circus and was in the north of Ireland he used the old friends network and contacted some of our mutual friends from the 1960s who were able to put him in touch with my sister in England. As Ludwig said to me a couple of weeks ago networking is a great system. You never know what's likely to happen next on the network system. It's hard to say who one would like to meet as "A stranger's just a friend you haven't met." Prior to the beginning of September I'd not heard of Belfast singer song writer Ruth McGonagle. Ruth is great craic and worth meeting. How can you say who you'd like to meet if you've never met them? One way is for a friend to say you ought to meet this person. I often find strangers have a far more interesting story to tell than many of those who are constantly in the headlines.Oh! I've enjoy meeting members of bands and all musicians who play good music and know how to put on a great show. If their conversation's good and they've a yarn or two to tell so much the better. I'm looking forward to meeting many more of you guys both on our MySpace pages and in person.I want to meet as many MySpacers as possible ... specially the Belfast ones and those from other places in the north of Ireland as I feel all of them should know about the Campaign to Save the Rotterdam Bar.
