Yes I am an artist but don't currently earn money for this. My wife and I own a fairly large framing business and are currently growing a huge network markting company that will shortly replace our framing income. Sure would love to show you how we are doing it.
As for art I guess I should say what all that jazz means to me? Well I really dont know but just need to do it. I have had this deep desire for as long as I can remember to just create. I have never taken formal training or to many stupid classes in school. I always felt like being taught what anothers precieved as right or wrong, good or bad in art or style seem to go against all that art is to me. Now dont get me wrong I want and appreciate my work being enjoyed and on a level criticized, just not dictated. The expression I have been trying to expose in my work is mine to explore.
I just starting painting and have found I love the freedom. The flow and movement is greater than I thought and previously found in sculpting. The colors and deminsions of possibilities I never knew possible in the past just seem to call me. I sure look forward to diving into more paint and exploring the color explosions and maybe find some deeper meaning for why I crave it so much. It is the journey.
