Hello,Im Erik...I am an easy going guy. I love life and love to have fun since everyone knows that fun rules!I am really envolved in the arts where I live...Im an artist and I try to paint or draw almost everyday, part of the time in my own business, painting murals and doing faux finishes here in the South Florida area. Also I do my own stuff which I show in galleries here in Naples. I also usually sketch from live nude models at least once a week.My main philosophy with my art is to help out anyone with artistic asperations by getting them connected with the right people and forming groups in the local community. I am interested in trying to build a network of artists in the South Florida area. Aside from the arts I really love nature and the natural world.So if you like the arts, why not drop an email my way. My Interests

Burning Man, Art and especially Painting, Printmaking, Writing, Books, Biking, Health Nutrition and Exercise, Martial Arts, Getting out into Nature, Traveling, Philosophy. Playing the guitar. Brewing my own mead! Yaaarrrggg!!! ....I also just joined the local toastmasters!

Music:

Years ago in the mid 1990s I used to make techno music like a crazed mad scientist with concoctions of knob tweeking and cords running through every inch of my room...Needless to say, theres a special place in my heart for Electronica, However I do like Jazz, Indie Rock, Classic Rock, Classical, Rap, Blue Grass, Techno, dance, Trip Hop...What ever is on I guess.Just lately I have been playin the guitar again so Ive been more into straight acoustic instrumental music...A total 180 degree flip from my old days I suppose.

Movies:

Just saw (The Man Who Fell to Earth) a really bizzare movie from the 1970s with David Bowie, not my personal favorite....But Somthing to see!I dunno, I rent movies once in a while but I am usually too busy to watch em though.

Television:

Turn it off!!!I discovered somthing new and even more exciting than reality tv....Its called reality!

Books:

I just recently have been reading.... E-Myths Revisited, The Purple Cow, The Art of Seduction, and God is a Woman.....I listen to audio books on my Ipod when I paint murals... Everything from J.D. Salinger, to Eckhart Tolle.

Heroes:

Einstein, Rasputan, Casanova, Inka Essenhigh, Odd Nerdrum, F. Scott Hess, John Singer Sargent, Dali, Francisco de Goya, Ray Johnson, Rembrant, Degas, Henry Darger, Van Gogh...there are too many others artists to list. I also like philosophers such as... Eckhart Tolle, Ken Wilber, Alan Watts, etc.
