I am a borderline obsessive/compulsive drummer from New Orleans who had to leave post-Katrina to start all over again in San Antonio, Tx. I have been in the music business for close to 20 years as a drum/stage tech. Equipment truck/Bus driver, performer, producer, arranger, composer. I have a regular day job now, but will pitch it if/when it becomes financially feaseable to pursue music again. I have 3 CD's under my belt with Blood Red Velvet as a drummer/co-producer/arranger. We have been in the top ten radio charts in quite a few markets, from Duluth,Mn. to Kansas, to Upstate NY, down to central Ms. all with decent rotation. College and commercial radio. WE WERE SO CLOSE!!
So I am off to try again with a group from the Tx. area. I am looking for a progressive rock band in the vein of RUSH, YES, DREAM THEATRE, and other VERY STRUCTURED ensembles. I am not into outdated guitar hero songs, goofy stuff, beginning garage level bands, and overly experimental projects. Musicianship first! Then promotion, then performance. I am not perfect, I do make mistakes as I am human but I am consistently improving at a decent rate, and need a project that shares my interests and professional direction, too much to ask? NAH!! Someone is out there..., HHHEEELLLLOOOOOOO?
