About Me

redshirt freshman is an Indie rock/pop band from Atlanta, GA. redshirt freshman formed in 2003 when Jam and Joey were found bandless. Not knowing what to do or where to go, they decided to form their own band. After countless demos, drummers, rehabs, redshirt freshman took definite form when Juan C came on board. They decided to record an album with the material they had accumulated and entitled it Rendirse (to surrender). Rendirse was recorded at Zero Return in April '04 by Eli Akins, mixed at Southern Tracks in May '04 by Karl Egsieker and is out for release now on Squeeze 'Em Records, the band's own record label. For booking contact us at [email protected]
