UDTV, Underground Downtown Television, was created by Gainesville Florida's very own "Wolfman" in 2002. Season I promoted North Central Florida bands thru television coverage of live shows, interviews and special events on local area access. After 12 successful shows, Wolfman produced and aired Season 2 on The FOX Network and Season 3 will starting in the fall of 2008 in Orlando, Gainesville, and Ocala on FOX.
Simply put, UDTV is dedicated to all styles of music, comedy, and culture. The best way to describe the television show is The Soup meets MTV’s Head Banger’s Ball and Yo! Raps. Wolfman is the main host throughout the show as well as various VJ’s and news correspondents. UDTV covers national and local bands.
Wolfman's vision with UDTV is to incorporate many necessary outlets for all of the bands needs in order to receive better promotion locally, gaining UDTV much notoriety in the local music scene. Each year, UDTV and its program grow more and more. With tours all over Florida (over 13 venues in FL alone), you are bound to see a show come to your city, like a THRASH N BASH TOUR. UDTV also does the HIP HOP BUFFET, The SWAMP STOMP, GIRLS NIGHT OUT, and other various Series and Tours. Expect side show antics, burlesques reviews, and comedians.
Season 3 will feature Afroman, Marc Rizzo (Soulfly), Jesse BLAZE Snider (VH1’s Rock The Cradle), Fosterchild (K Miller of Fuel), Fixer, Sex Slaves, Lacey Conner and many more.
