Production The production department at The Backstage is a multi-dimensional team of professionals each with decades of experience in the entertainment industry. The staff is dedicated to providing an efficient and professional environment for incoming acts. FOH engineer, Ric Trapp, heads the audio department. His experience with touring and acute technical ability set a high standard for the rest of the staff. He has worked with an extensive list of top artists. Rounding out and Completing the team is LD/stage manager, Ed Waldick, whose many years of experience and creativity from years of touring are an asset to any light show. Ed has expanded his artistic eye to video production for the Backstage. This seems to flow dynamically with his lighting kaleidoscope. Email Ed if your looking to perform with us, he’s also out talent buyer.
We offer video production in DVD format of your show. It has 3 camera angle perspective with audio from 2 ambient mics and a direct audio feed from the house console giving you a "live/studio" mix. Along with the visual production, these DVD’s have become a very useful tool for many many bands. Please contact Ed prior to show time for the cost and all the information.
