About Me
As a child, Brillion Williams always dreamed of owning her own record label. Growing up in the small town of Gainesville, Florida didn’t offer her many entertainment outlets. “It was definitely a struggle. Most artists down here don’t see their careers advancing beyond Gainesville. When you live in big cities like New York and Los Angeles, you’re surrounded by major record labels and other artists that share your same visionâ€.“I was ready to make things happen. I refused to sit back and not follow my dreams…so one day I packed my bags and moved to Atlanta.†The moment she moved to Atlanta, Williams got a phonebook and called every record label and recording studio in Atlanta. After just one month, Williams landed a job as an intern at a recording studio and television production company. “The moment I got the internship, I told myself that I was going to stop knocking on doors. I was going to start kicking doors down, and I have been kicking doors down ever sinceâ€. In early 2005, Williams moved back to Florida in order to start her own record label, Reign Check Entertainment. The year 2005 marked a time for new beginnings, new endeavors, and new challenges. In 2006, Williams appointed Darrell Shuler, Zam Zhinga Editor/ Director/ Photojournalist the Vice President of Reign Check . Shuler handles the artist development and digital imaging of Reign Check’s artists. “Darrell is a jack of all trades. He’s an editor, director, and a videographer.†Shuler has worked with the likes of Bad Boy Records, Reign Check Entertainment, So So Def, Def Jam, BME, TVT, MTV, BET, Bravo, NBC, ABC, TEAM JORDAN, NIKE, just to name a few.We plan to make a huge impact on the entertainment industry by producing all genres of music. Reign Check Entertainment judges artists based on talent, not by the type of music they create. Whether it is Rap, R&B, Pop, Rock, Gospel, it does not matter. We are only interested in talent--REAL TALENT. Talent is what the MUSIC GAME is MISSING RIGHT NOW and we plan to BRING IT BACK IN A BIG WAY!
