They have been together for seven years and have their fifth release out at the moment on their own label “Schlup Records”. Among their influences are early Rolling Stones, Elvis Costello, Velvet Underground and Erwin Schlup.“Neperud” (the name) comes from a peaceful little spot in Ulefoss (a little parish hidden away in the deep forests of Telemark). “Neperud”(the place) consists of four pre-fab houses, a water tower, a ski jump and a graveyard.What people say about Neperud (the band):“No frills, no bollocks, balls deluxe!!
