The Andy Pizzo Project

Giving the Bone it's rightful place in your face

About Me

The Andy Pizzo Project has been around the Baton Rouge music scene since 2001. They provide a mix of jazz and funk and can take it from blues all the way to latin. This is a very diverse group that is focusing on the funky jazz and jazzy funk. Having just released it's debut c.d. "BOUNCIN", these guys are looking to make some serious noise and show everyone what they are all about. Several radio stations throughout the country have this c.d. in its rotation, so be prepared to hear more of Andy's originals and the Project's new arrangements more often. You can also check them out on their website at www.andypizzo.com. Supported by a seriously tight rhythm section including Patrick Bordelon on guitar, Doug Gay on drums, Matt Doran on keys, and Jason Marchand and Josh Nee rotating on bass, trombonist Andy Pizzo brings the trombone to the forefront of the funk and jazz scene and combines his natural trombone sound with a series of guitar effect petals to give his trombone a unique and fascinating sound. Come on out and catch these guys to see what all the talk is about!I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
