About Me

EMAIL: [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- Music is a form of life and while I enjoy all sorts of music, when it comes to performing, nothing beats the raw energy and passion of the blues. We try to do that with our songs, and we play almost entirely originals written by myself and arranged during jam sessions with the band. There are some Chicago blues rockers, some swinging songs for the cats, and a bit of funk and boogie as well. I hope we bring something interesting to the blues!------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- As a band we haven't played much, but if you like our songs, make sure you send me an email to [email protected] - we have a free schedule at the moment, although Steve and I often perform at the blues jam session down Satchmo's Bar at West End on Monday nights. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------We all like a variety of music and come from different backgrounds. Niyi is studying sound engineering at the Con and can play in a variety of styles, Robert started with heavy metal and I came to music with whatever my sisters listened to in the late 80s/early 90s (Crowded House, Midnight Oil) and went from there to all sorts of things (see the profile). Steve and Ray are experienced musicians and until recently have been playing the blues and other forms of music in Cairns.
