Moods speak of simple stories of our time, the conference of the stars, Lucifers's great departure, or the boredom of the lake. Catherine Wishart's songs, written in english, convey today's mood through an imaginary diary. The production of the album by Hector Zazou creates an elegant and self contained atmosphere that contrasts with the more expressive focus of the live performance. The song arrangement for Between The Lines is by Alex Kid who also co mixed the album. Finally Clemence Gegauff's vocal virtuosity is brought into play with variations of blues, impressionist lyricism, and baroque inspiration.Les chansons de Catherine Wishart, en anglais, traduisent les « moods » de notre temps en un journal intime.
