About Me

Inspired by the rich simplicity of the bass and voice blend, Bassavoce is a self-indulgent venture. Choosing repertoire that is based solely on what they find cool and making it their own, Teegan and Gillian intertwine soulful and sultry melody lines and feed off of each others interpretation of the music. Inspiration comes from the music itself, and the sound goes down smooth like chocolate and a fine whiskey, although Teegan still maintains that whiskey does not go down "smooth".

Influences: Every album in our respective collections. Every musician we have ever worked with. Any song that has made us dance, laugh or cry. And, each other.
