About Me

Nothing to see here, move along please...

...but if you do decide to stick around, forget the cheerleader, damn it, and save the artists!

Contact table artwork by Camille Rose Garcia. Check out her Myspace page and please BUY her books!

In the run up to Halloween, Justin, the Zipperface is creating a daily costumed kid illustration for his website . Check out those adorable zombies, and many, many more! Tis the season to be spooky!! {{{^_^}}}

Sparko is an all-new comic from SLG Publishing written and illustrated by Karl. A brush with death leads Norman into a strange underground London, where his unintentional guide, a pick-pocketing girl named Belle, keeps him a step ahead of ghosts, monsters, psycho grannies on scooters and their killer Chihuahuas. Already told him, I'm still waiting for the Chihuahuas...aren't we all?!

Mister-Sam is currently taking orders for his amazing dark portraits. What are you bands and glamour girls & guys waiting for?!

The Lone Fox (& Cub!) worked their fingers to the bloody bone to bring us the delightfully horrific (and not the slightest bit slushy) comic 'The Tombs' that deserves to be published.

D. W. Frydendall is working on a collaboration that is very exciting and will be well worth the wait. Please also see his Blog Entry about the West Memphis 3 and check out www.wm3.org for more info about those who have been wrongly accused and convicted.

Gris Grimly has a million things on the go at once (as usual) including his follow up to Poe's 'Tales of Mystery and Madness' - 'Tales of Death and Dementia' and drumming up support for the WM3.

...and then there are the wonderful bands that you may not have heard of, but do deserve a listen: Rosa Crux , The Old Dead Tree , À Rebours , Liturgy of Decay , One of Us , Creature Feature , Stolen Babies , and Joe Black .

Last, but definitely not least, is Phil Mucci's beautiful short film The Listening Dead . Be sure to check out his stunning photography as well!

Support the artists, save the world!

I'd like to meet:

A collector of many things perhaps, but not a collector of friends. I love stumbling upon old friends as well as meeting some new ones, however, I am not interested in a mile-long list of people I know nothing about. My heart has been carved out so no point in trying to capture that...

If you are a face from the past or someone I currently know, so glad you found me. If we have never met and you would like to add me, please send a message saying hello...or you could very well find your request ruthlessly denied. I couldn't put it any better than my friends in Liturgy of Decay and share their feelings:

If you're only competing for the award of the longest friends list ever, forget it, because we are not here for the same reasons, we don't recognise nor respect the superficiality of this approach and we refuse to be a part of it – to be used to this end...We want each of our friend links to have a real and meaningful reason to be there.

I spend hours trawling through Myspace for new artists and bands that capture my attention, but cannot possibly find them all. There is not much rhyme or reason to what I like...I just know it when I see/hear it. By all means please do send a friend request if you think I might appreciate your music or work...and in return I will do what I can to offer you support as I abhor those who only selfishly take.
