I am here for Networking

About Me

....I am a woman who has found her purpose in life - even though it took me 46 years to do It.I am multi-dimensional - playwright, poet, author, entreprenuer, minister, mother of 3 grown children, teacher, preacher, friend, confidante, counselor."I am single, yet I am whole! Confident yet I am bold. Spiritually divine, with an innovative mind".Most Current Accomplishments: Play: A Change Is Gonna Come - Gospel Stage Play about Domestic Violence amongst Religious Leaders (June 9, 2007)Books: The Art of Forgiving - My personal memoir of how I overcame the heartbreak of divorce by mastering the "Art of Forgiving". In Progress: "Know Your Worth, Overcoming the dragon of low self-esteem!"Entrepreneurship: President of Soaring High Productions - a talent promotion agency for performing artists, playwrights, aspiring authors, and rising poets.Trailblazer: Life After Divorce Support Group (LADS) for divorcees who are not victims but overcomers.

My Interests

"A Change Is Gonna Come" is about domestic violence in the church.Pastor Sills is a handsome and prominent pastor who secretly physically, mentally, and sexually abuses his beautiful wife, Lisa. Witness a "first lady's" attempt to display the perfect pastor's wife on the outside while her self-worth is dying on the inside. My other interest are, non-fictional writing, poetry, shopping, concerts, museums, eating out, traveling to exotic places, and sharing special time with friends!

I'd like to meet:

Successful Playwrights/Producers (Tyler Perry, David E. Talbert), poets (Maya Angelou), film maker (Spike Lee), bodacious entrepreneurs (Bob Johnson, T.D. Jakes, Oprah Winfrey, Teresa Hairston, Juanita Bynum) fellow authors (Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Iyanla Vanzant), and finally, a Spirit-filled, handsome, romantic, and whole husband so that when I get to the end of the road - I have someone in whom I can grow old with gracefully without regrets!

Music:

Moss, Dorinda Clark Cole, Marvin Sapps, The Winans, Vickie Winans, CeCe Winans, Coltraine, Wayman Tisdale, Norman Brown, Miles Davis, Boney James, Down to the Bone, Patti Labelle, Stephanie Mills, Jennifer Holliday, Jennifer Hudson, Luther Vandross, Musiq, Jill Scott, Earth, Wind & Fire, Cameo, Ojays
