Comprised of current members of Specimen,and former members of Bone Orchard, Fade to Black, Thrill of the Pull, Anvil Chorus, Release and Until December, the members of Swoon have opened for such legendary acts as the New York Dolls, Sisters of Mercy, Joan Jett, Janes Addiction, Nine Inch Nails and the Ramones, just to name a few.

Swoon has one foot in the past, and two feet in the future as Stephan X and Tim Huthert are both present in the new incarnation of Specimen.

They are an original act of melodic gothic rock, swirling guitars,
distinctive vocals, with a classic goth lyrics with an added alternative edge.
Swoon are four musicians who's personal influences range from Roxy Music and Jeff Buckley to Sonic Youth, Sisters of Mercy, Killing Joke and Echo and the Bunnymen with an added spice of Batcave attitude.
