Jambo! Welcome to the adventure

About Me

Life is good. After all, I play guitar, and teach others how to play while getting paid to do it. What could be better, and who would I be to complain? In addition to my 40-50 student a week teaching schedule, I also freelance with a few bands, perform in a duo with my lovely and talented wife Debi, and have just joined up with some other talented players to form a new band called RISE. It features Mike Perri (Bass and Vocals), Jamey Hartman (Drums and Vocals), Jake Lugar (Keyboards and Vocals), Debi Rose (Vocals and Guitar), and myself (Guitar and Vocals). I couldn't be more excited about this project, and we are all looking forward to growing together as a band, and as friends. The response to our live shows has been excellent, and be sure to check back for our upcomming dates."We are going up to Jerusalem," he said, "and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles, who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will RISE."Mark 10:33-34For Debi and Daryl booking information, RISE booking information, Dary Tomas booking information and session work, and private and group guitar lessons with Daryl, contact [email protected] .Sequencing on "Something Comes Over Me" by Mark KuiperPlease visit www.theguitarexchange.com for guitar lessons and great guitar gear

Influences: Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, many who I can't even think of right now, and about a million others. All of the great players who I have had the privledge of working with, who not only gave me an opportunity to play with them, but unselfishly taught me the ropes, and taught me how to really be a "musician."
Sounds Like: Me, I hope.
