The Olympics of Independent Film Making!
I looked at the list of Oscar nominations and noticed that "Binta and the Great Idea" is nominated for Best Live Action Short Film. That's great news for the Indie Gathering Film Festival because "Binta" played at the festival and won a number of awards (2006) before the Oscar nom. So, the Indie Gathering now has a reputation of selecting and awarding films that go on to win Academy Award nominations.
