Penny knows that being in the hands of God, and the anointing He has on her life, that no weapon formed against her shall prosper.in 1989 suffered with an aneurysm she testified: (a blood vessel erupted behind my brain. It was the worst pain anyone could ever image. It felt like I was just hit in the head with a hard object. I did not fall into a coma and still drove twenty minutes home. I did not think about driving to the hospital, but called a friend instead. Two hours had past before my friend arrived and I was still conscious. As I looked into their eyes I knew something was seriously wrong, they said I was turning gray. As we walked into the clinic the nurses immediately called for a doctor who arrived in the X-ray room and examined me, that was when they sedated me.When I woke up I was in the intensive care unit of a local hospital. I was not in any pain; blood was still running in my head. I felt the presence of Jesus and it was so peaceful as I laid there. I heard Him speak to me. My Lord said; After surgery you must give a testimony. After a while, the doctor and neurologists came into my room to explain the procedures. They said I had a two percent chance to live, and if I lived there would be memory loss, blindness and a speech impediment. I looked at the doctors, and said God is Good, my Lord has already told me I was not going to die.On the seventh day, as I lay in the Intensive Care I realized that there was something about the number seven. God continued to perform His miracles. I remember the neurologist moving me to the recovery room, and as I opened my eyes for a second, he looked at me and said You are a miracle child. The doctor told my family that as soon as he started the operation the blood stopped. He said it was crystal clear and was shown exactly where to proceed. However, in order to repair the erupted blood vessel, the neurologist had to lift out the left side of my brain. The surgery lasted for only one hour and forty-five minutes. My recovery defied all medical predictions. There was no memory loss, no blindness or speech impediment. If we talk about the two percent chance to live, lets just say I am a living testimony. On Sunday morning in 2001, while singing praises to His Holy name I heard Jesus speak to me saying, I want you to go out in the streets. The first thing came to mind was where? Now I am using my songs to tell people that Jesus is still in the miracle business. I did my first demo, and other doors began to open. Radio stations here in Houston are playing my music, this is the case in Dallas, New York, Dayton Ohio, Saint Louis, Philadelphia Pa, California, and San Diego.Giving my testimony over the airwaves has truly been a blessing; I share my testimony to Gods people in nursing homes, homeless shelters, and in parks. I remember a friend asking me what will my last name be for my music ministry. I said Diamond, not knowing why at the time. Then Jesus gave me the confirmation one day. A diamond is dirty before its made clean, and the penny coin as you know is not much, but Jesus chose me, He washed my sins away. Hallelujah I have been born again. Just for who he is, the great I AM! I must continue to declare the glory of the Lord in my life).PENNY W/VANESSA BELL-ARMSTRONG
