Transcendent Third (T3 for short)

one plus one doesn't always equal two...

About Me

Hey everyone,
We are Michael and Matthew Polonchak, identical twin singer/songwriters behind "Transcendent Third", or T3.
We started violin at age 5 (Matthew’s idea) and picked up guitars by age 12. We haven’t really looked back since...
We were finalists in the 2005 Mountain Stage New Song Festival and in the "Cream, Best of Philly Rising" competition at World Cafe Live in early 2006. We’ve also toured the east coast several times played countless shows in our home area of Washington, D.C.
We’re currently attending different colleges in the Baltimore, MD area but are still actively writing songs, and playing shows when we can. We hope to see you at one of them!
"Transcendent Third" is a Jungian concept of two forces, both equal and opposite, working together to fuel a tension that will ultimately result in the creation of something that is not a mix of both but completely new, a third that transcends both.
