About Me

Smart, funny, caring, nice smile, believes in continual improvement, trying to go "green" ... oh ... wait ... this is supposed to be the ABOUT ME section! Okay, my lame attempt at humor.

I'd like to talk to anyone interested in sharing their life experiences, books they've read, music they play ... anything at all! There are so many people with so many thoughts, and it would be a shame if they're never shared. I believe everyone has a story to tell. If you're a fellow writer and haven't checked out Urbis, you can click through to it here and check out my profile there as well as create your own: Urbis.com . It's a great place for writers where you can post your work and review other writer's work as well.

Anne is my pen name. I'm probably going to rewrite parts of my book, PIECES OF SARAH - Book One: Journey to an Awakening because I want to tone the sex down a bit and make it more mainstream chic lit. The original is still listed on Amazon.com and you can get it by clicking here: Pieces of Sarah ..

My Interests

I never was much into watching sports, but since my son has been active in rec league and high school sports, I now find myself watching the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens. I'd love to watch the Chicago Bears too, but most of their games aren't broadcast here. I love to write and also like photography and scrapbookking. I love music and art. I like to keep learning, so I take online courses now and then and read like crazy when the mood strikes.

I strive to be a sensual smart-ass too (even though my tattoo is NOTHING like this one)...

I'd like to meet:

I think it would be awesome to meet Eric Clapton, Sting, and (before he died) Ronald Reagan. I'd really like to meet the man of my dreams, but I'm not sure who he is. I guess it would be someone loving, caring, responsible, and understanding - someone who takes what life dishes out and learns from it instead of getting pissed off and walking away. I'd like to meet many of those in my friends list just to talk and have coffee or tea and just have a little fun.

Oh, and I'd like to meet the person who created Dove chocolate and thank him or her from the bottom of my heart!

Books are my life! Seriously! I love to read and don't have enough time to read as much as I'd like to. I recommend THE SOCIOPATH NEXT DOOR, THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING, anything Sherlock Holmes, and of course, PIECES OF SARAH.

Heroes:

My Dad, Ronald Reagan, Abraham Lincoln, foster parents who really give s**t, firefighters, police who risk their lives on a daily basis, teachers, daycare workers, and the U.S. Armed Forces

Go ahead ... touch them ... I dare you ...

The Chaperone, The Mom

I was one of a very small handful of parents who chaperoned the Freshman/Sophomore dance at the school last night. It's unbelievable to me how few parents signed up for this; seriously, there were no...

"Can’t Buy Me Love"
