SAWMILL INDIE POP!.....

About Me

Thrilled Skinny started at the beginning of 1987 and sort of ended at the end of 1991, never officially split and had records released up to 1994 and last played a (mini) gig at Mr & Mrs Goalpost’s wedding a couple of years ago. They did three albums, two twelve inch eps, a number of seven inch singles and a Peel session. They played about 200 gigs in England, Scotland and Germany with all sorts of bands. Mr Goalpost is in Noise Annoys Simon - Check them out, they are myspace friends of ours, while the others are all in The Knockouts.

Sounds Like: Well, it started really fast. REALLY fast. Mr Marti Tuff got a weird, great sound on the first ep. Live shows were tight, loud and exhilarating in short bursts. By the end, it had slowed down a little and become tuneful-ish. Here is an enormous list of our gigs. Please feel free to skip it. Although if you can fill in any of the gaps especially at the memory loss 1991 era, we'd be grateful....
