Guitarist of Shadows of Paragon

About Me

I am the female guitarist of Shadows of Paragon. I have lived a bit of a different life compared to most people. At the age of 34, I have found myself realizing that I never lived at one place in a time-span over 3 years at one time. So what have I done all my life? I have moved. I have lived in four different countries, three different parts of the world, and lots of different places. A psykologist pondered what I would put my identity in, I mean for most people where you live is one of the major things that defines who you are, but in mycase there has to be something else. When you think about it, except for geography, what do you really have in life that doesn’t change? All your relationships change over time. Your parents will not always be there. Most people don’t maintain friendships from a very young age throughout their entire lives. Anything can happen. Your house can burn down, and you can lose everything. I have realized that there is only one thing in life that will never change, and that is what I want to put my identity in, and that is my faith. I believe in Jesus Christ. I’ve gone through many times of depression and struggled with suicidal thoughts. Being a Christ-follower doesn’t eliminate being hit by the hardships of life, but it has helped me lots of times to keep going. Knowing that there is a greater perspective than we can see now.

I would like to get to know more people who share the same interests. Musicians, guitarists, producers, or just anyone who feel they have something in common with me.
Blessings,
Zharlie

Some days everything just seems so meaningless...

At least, I'm not the only one who has felt like that. This is from Ecclesiastes:2 "Meaningless! Meaningless!"        says the Teacher.      &nbs...
