About Me
Having a lot of things going on in my life right now, I am going to have to get a second job to help the family. I have not found a teaching position this year or for the last four years in my field of teaching culinary arts. I have tried to get into management for the last three years at Cracker Barrel. It is going slow. Cracker Barrel has made me a part time shift leader which is closer, but as it says in the Army- close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.With one car working out of three, there are times I have to walk three miles to work. I am taking courses to make me look better for employment and to meet my American Culinary Federation and SC state education requirements to keep my certifications up. This is taking my free time, a long with cooking food for my family and many other things. Cutting back on things is a must right now.I set this site up for friends to meet, get prayer requests, and for friends to quickly find your favorite artists. I will check for messages, but I will be limiting my time on the site. This is NOT what I want to do, because I love my friends I contact and contact me. You will all be in my prayers and I pray you will pray for me and my family as I do yours...

I am one of the types of old Jesus freaks from the late 1970;saved when watching and praying with Pat Robinson on the;700 Club, attended Washington for Jesus in 1980, searched for any Jesus huge event that drew thousands for a weekend or week that was within driving distance, and left my style of music during this period of time.Before my salvation, I was raised on classic country music. My father took me to every country show that came to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. That is where I saw just about every recording star from Kitty Wells to Johnny Cash. Such a style of music stopped when I heard hard rock music I wanted to play guitar to instead of country with my dad. Canned Heat, Deep Purple, Iron Butterfly, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, Bob Dylan, the Doors, Jimmy Hendrix and the Cream were my idols. Played my guitar with my band in the military at their N.C.O clubs. We thought we were really living and jamming. I had friends who did drugs while I drank with them before we were sent out to war.After finding the Lord Jesus Christ, I joined a local Christian music club for musicians at the University of Pittsburgh I was attending since I loved playing a 1960 Les Paul Jr. guitar and borrowed my dad's 1956 model making sounds it never was exposed to. We met monthly on the college campus and were blessed with many artists who talked to our club. Changing my style of music for the last time was not very difficult with such professional performers as Fireworks and Glad sharing information on band life and once Dion gave our group a private free concert. My new groups were Resurrection Band, Stryper, De Garmo and Key, Petra, Oden Fong, Bethlehem, Daniel Amos Band, Dion, Fireworks, Benny Hester, Larry Norman, Randy Stonehill, Leon from Santana, Kerry Livgren from Kansas, and Ritchie Furay who left Kansas to do Christian music. I have never looked back nor wanted to return to classic rock nor wanted to leave this wonderful music God led me to.Creating this myspace music ministry site makes it easier for my friends or those who want to search for their favorite group, ministry link, or artist quickly are able to do just that. I am not looking for vast numbers of friends since many of them have too many adult links. The old saying is quality not quantity, and that fits my music ministry goals. It has taken me many hour of research to find all my Christian sites and solid Christian friends, so please enjoy it!
