Thorb- A framed moment of reality was the result of 4 guys rehearsing 5 times, then we recorded the music live, except the the vocals and some guitar solos.
The songs were from the start computerbased with alot of programming, loops and stuff, but I grew tired of the process and called in a few friends for rehearsal and we did it in rockformat instead.
The whole idea was to record a rockband without masking anything, a bit emberassing at times but then again very liberating and this became the most important recording for me so far, therefor the name "a framed moment of reality" as real as it gets.
First time doing lead vocals it was a hughe step, but I felt God moved with me in this project and that was all that mattered.We did 3 giggs that summer but as my main band Veni Domine ( www.venidomine.com) got out of a record deal I again persued that route.
There will be more from me doing vocals, have not found the right format for that at present.
I'm also busy doing alot of recordings and mixing at my studio "Room of doom" so we'll see when time allows me.....
Big thanks to all that mailed me regarding this project, it meant the world to me back then and still some of the testemonies were no less than heartbreaking.
