Veni Domine

Progressive DOOM Metal (Official MySpace)

About Me

Veni Domine in 1987 was Torbjörn Weinesjö, Thomas Weinesjö, Fredrik Sjöholm ( back then Olsson) and Anders Olofsson. Bass and keyboard positions have changed a few times since then but the core still remains.
The name Veni Domine came in the early 90s as the first record deal was landed. The style was soon to be labeled doom but this was not the aim of the band. Veni Domine was always trying to evolve and so far the most media attention was around their slower time and therefore the label is sticking to the band. Symphonic elements as well as progressive ones are often heard on the cds. The band recorded their debut in Eastbourne, England for Kingsway records and moved to Sweden for Thunderload records for the following 3 cds. There was a large gap in the bands history of releasing from 1997-2004 due to some contractual issues. Latest release 23:59 brings the band to German label MCM-Music.
Veni Domine has been seen around Europe for tours and festivals.
