so they lay connected in some way, musically... definately. we wake up, rested, after every song we perform. with tired eyes, ready for the next high. Influences:so basically everything that i come into contact with... people that i meet... theres so much beauty in people i sometimes just want to suffocate myself with them. music.. ani difranco is a genius. her lyrics are so intertwined and connected, and her music totally portrays what she is trying to say. jeff buckley was and always will be incredible. he can make me cry with just a few lines. tracy chapman. what a beautiful voice. from sarah mclaughlin to pearl jam, metallica, pantera. system of a down, missy higgins, my friend kate strand. as long as it has honesty...... thats basically what i like to listen to and what inspires me. but in general i think music is a way to express yourself, just like painting, or writing poetry, or running a marathon, or working on cars, or basically anything at all... people just have different ways that fit them the best, and i think the best music is when someone has found a way to say what they want to say, and they do it from the heart.
