One Taste

----One Taste was first formed in the year 2003 in a small, idyllic Finnish town called Rauma. After many changes in the line up, the group has finally arrived at it's current form.----During it's four year existence the band has already attempted to tackle various forms of musical expression; from jazz/pop instrumentals, to free-form playing to vocal music and long-form compositions. At the core of One Taste's expression lies certain musical values: an interest in form -be it in the context of a 45 minute piece or a three-and-a-half minute pop nugget- and harmony. All of the groups music could be described as jazz-pop or pop-jazz.----As of now the band is recording it's fourth full-length release, due late this year or early 2008. This time the material is vocal music with Finnish lyrics.
