About Me

I've been delaying growing up for as long as possible, and so far Brighton seems to be humouring me pretty well... I've been inflicting my music tastes on the indie elite of this slightly confused city for around 5 years, at The Pav Tav on Fridays for Kick Out The Jams, the Arc on Saturdays for Holdup!, The Prince Albert on a monthly basis with Born to Lose (misery aplenty, and free misfortune cookies!)...I had a pop-punky/emo night on Thursdays but it has emt its demise, so to compensate, I'll be finding other projects... I do odd bits and bobs at other places too, including Pride floats when given the chance...and I get to draw stuff on people's faces at Super Dynamite Boogaloo at le Komedia once a month. In my free time, I mostly sleep. ... I have a day job, too, but it's really fucking dull so I'm not writing about it here.

The Worst Band I Have Heard In Days...

I haven't felt the need to rant about a band through utter distaste since the days of Starsailor, and back then, everyone else was doing it with so much gusto that my feeble utterances of disgust were...

Apparently, there's a war on emo...

'Tis true - the area outside Borders in Churchill Square has become a veritable battle ground, where the chavs, metallers and Bloc Party fans line up and take aim at the tightly huddled collections o...
