Many thanks to DJ LAW (www.myspace.com/law1dj) for taking the pics. Gordon is available for session work and performs with many bands, however when he is putting the jazz line-up together he will primarily use regulars on Piano, sax and guitar on **Piano** Gunther Kuermayr, Harry (Paul Harris), Geoff Castle, Craig Milverton. **Sax** Simon Bates, Derek Nash, Alex Garnet, Paul Booth, Pat Crumly **Guitar** Dominic Ashworth, John Etheridge, Jim Mullen. The bass, trumpet and drums change far more often **Trumpet** Digby Fairweather, Mike Hopkins **Drums** Bobby Worth, and just getting to know Jasper Morrissey (he sounds real good) ** Bass** Have a gig coming up with Geoff Gascoyne, Steve Dunning ***** Here is a review on Gordon's CD by **** George Melly **** "No need for labels, no need indeed, what label could you apply anyway. This CD is soaked in jazz feeling, played by technically immaculate musicians interpreting fine tunes in which those composed by the band leader/vocalist himself need fear no challenge. Gordon's voice is unique and his own. Altogether a thoughtful and delightful collection."************************************************ ****************************************** Gordon also fronts GOrdon Webber's Roadrunners (9 piece Soul Band) which comprises:- Francesca Payne (Vocals) Rees Bridges (Drums) Dave Bold (Guitar) Steve Cox (Bass) John Gittos (Keys) Nial Ross (Sax) Alison Sams (Trumptet) and Dave Morris (Sax) see www.roadrunnerstheband.com. ************************************************************ ************** And for somthing completely different Gordon works with Steve Mac performing an acoustic vocals/guitars Here is a review by ******Mick Taylor****** "Gordon and Steve display a great knowledge of good song-writing, mining nuggets from the richest seams of rock and blues, arranging them for two acoustic guitars, and producing some absolute gems of interpretation. Soulful vocals and a penetrating guitar sound bring a new lease of life to carefully-chosen material from a variety of genres, as they eschew the obvious in favour of a truly original take on some classic tunes." Gordon and Steve are enjoying a good run of gigs performing the "intimate" party circuit, "What more could one ask for, but thoses good looking chapies with guitars, singing in ones drawing room, how delightful!!"
Influences: You have been marked on my profile map!

I have a rather diverse area of influence and I am continually discovering that there are many established artists (and indeed lesser known singers) who have something to bring to the table. At the moment the most influential "well known and established singers" for me are: - **** Mark Murphy, **** Eric Clapton, **** John Lennon, **** Kurt Elling, **** Mick Jagger. ******* Just recently (April 2007) I was introduced to ****David Laudat**** a fantastic vocal coach. David has brought to the surface a tonal quality that had been lurking somewhere in the depths for many, many years. If there are any working singers reading this who feel that there may scope to improve their performance check the guy out!
Sounds Like: I want to sound just like me! however, I have been told that I have a very "Bluesy" voice and when singing while playing guitar my voice is similar to Eric Claptons. Although I admire Eric's voice I do not attempt to emulate him. I am striving to be able to deliver an whole evening's performace to the same quality of the like's of Kurt Elling, again I do not want sound like him but would love to have his tonal control and quality.
